Bio

Moyra is a Nurse and life long learner, who is interested in how design can be used to influence problem solving and create opportunities within the Public Sector.

Moyra is currently a student of the Masters of Design for Services programme at Duncan of Jordanston college of Art and Design. She has worked with a variety of clients including Perth and Kinross City Council and IRISS (Institute for Research and Innovation for Social Services), working with the Pitlochry community to find sustainable opportunities for care for older people.

Moyra has worked collaboratively with Ethnographers and Product Designers to produce a short video in response to a brief from DC Thomson in relation to their ‘Find my past’ family history site.

Moyra has co-facilited workshops for 100 staff members towards innovation at Penumbra (a charity supporting mental health and wellbeing) staff conference in November 2013.
